goldenhonesty asked: Hi, My name is Lesley, I just recently heard about you and I have to say I love your work! I am a student in my last year of a makeup artistry program at and I was wondering, if you had any tips and/or advice about the industry. Thank you, Once again you are awesome.

The same tip I give to everyone I talk to is that theres no way to just slip in and get work immediately. You really have to dedicate your time and effort into this if its what you love. Even on days that are challenging, I leave work so happy because I love what I do. In anything you do, make sure you are happy! If you aren’t, it’ll always be an annoyance, and thats not a fun way to live.

themagiciansdreams asked: Thanks Seana! That was so totally helpful! You are a makeup/face/hair goddess and you are totally gorgeous <3

Glad to help!! Thank you for being so kind!

themagiciansdreams asked: Not sure if you know anything about this: I've been trying to find a good acne cleanser that reduces the oiliness of my skin as well as the bumps and blemishes. I tried Neutrogena pink grapefruit and it chemically burned my skin! I guess my skin is pretty sensitive. I don't know where else to look so here's hoping you can help me out :)

!! Neutrogena is scary. Years ago I used a face masque and it bleach my towel!! I know skin care can be pricey, but I’d spend money on that and go cheaper on makeup (if you’ll even need any after your awesome skin care!). Try a dermalogica system targeted towards acne prone skin.. They sell mini kits so you can test it for a month before buying the large sizes!

Benjamin Parrillo and Rachel Boston rehearsing on the set of “Coming Home”. This was one of my favorite projects and I worked on this during the day while working nights on another film. It was the most exhausting experience of my life and I have learned that one hour of sleep a day is not enough, but great things came from this craziness!

bblueashes asked: (I don't know if it was sent 'cause said error, so I'll ask again, sorry)Hi Seana! What are the makeup products that you use everyday? I don't usually use much because I'm a little lazy, but I would use something that looks natural for the day. Can you help, please? Have a nice day!

Hello! I don’t use a lot, but I have a BB cream by Dr Jart and Full Cover concealer by Makeup Forever in case of blemishes. Other than that, I use Sonia Kashuk blush and a Shu Uemura eyelash curler! If I’m feeling wild, I’ll throw on some eyeliner with the felt tip liner by Milani, but Stila has a great one!

amermaids-lagoon asked: What's the best way to cover up acne? I read somewhere that using green/green tinted concealer is the best way, but I was wondering if there are any other techniques - I can't find green concealer anywhere!

The reason its hard to cover, is because the color of the scarring is so rich! Thats why the green concealer is necessary, unless you want to slap on a ton of heavy makeup. Makeup Forever makes a great green concealer that will last you a long time, since you use so little. Hope that helps!

Hi new followers!

Tomorrow I’ll be doing a little write up on the amazing Sigma Brushes! I hope everyone has a good night!
